Indie Dev Journal - week ending September 13th 2026
This past week has been a mad scramble to keep on top of everything. New iPhones were announced and it has been a lot of work to get everything updated and ready for iOS 27 / macOS 27 / visionOS 27. This has meant lots of work making sure everything runs the way it should on the new platform versions.
HealthKitty 2026.9 release
The first of the iOS 27 app releases and it brings some amazing improvements.
- Private Cloud Compute so that chat interactions are more detailed.
- Menopause data in chat responses
- Training zones in workout data
- Improvements to Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight interactions
Contract work
I'm still on my lookout for my next bit of contract work, so feel free to get in touch. I would love to build some amazing apps for others and help out teams to achieve their goals.
The week ahead
Lots of marketing work this coming week. Things have been focusing on the code and I need to take some time to switch to doing marketing for a bit.
