Indie Dev Journal - week ending October 18th 2026
The first rule of Indie Dev Journal is to write an update every week. As anyone who has met me knows, I'm as horrible with commitments as I am with rules. But, it's also good to just put things down into words.
Ride Journal 2026.10
I finally got around to releasing the update to Ride Journal and it covers a lot of amazing new features.

- Update UI design
- iPhone Duo support
- Interactive Graphs and Maps
PreviewSmith
So with the iPhone Duo being released in just under a week, AppStore Connect got updates to support the Asset Library that was announced at WWDC in 2026. I put in some time this week to add support to PreviewSmith so expect a new release soon. I want to get it out before starting my next round of contract work. But then again, me and commitments is possibly best not written about.
Mobile Builds
While writing this blog post I'm also jumping back frequently to Xcode and doing some updates to Mobile Builds. This includes UI updates to support the iPhone Duo. I'm also bringing in a search feature that will make it easy to ask questions around what is going on with apps, workflows and builds.
Contract work.
The good news is that I have lined up contract work and that's coming up shortly. This will change everything with my indie app progress but lets just have some fun and see what I can accomplish.
